Arsenal moved into fifth and kept their top-four hopes alive with a 2-0 win at Southampton.

The Saints came into the match having hampered Liverpool’s top-four hopes with a draw at Anfield on Sunday, but they could not stop Arsene Wenger’s men on the South Coast.

The win means Arsenal move above Manchester United into fifth, three points behind fourth-placed Manchester City and four off Liverpool in third.
