AC Milan and Arsenal are the early favourites to win the Europa League following the draw in Monaco.

The Italian giants were placed in Group  along with Austria Vienna, Rijeka and AEK Athens and are currently regarded as the favourites to lift the trophy, which qualifies you for the Champions League.

Arsenal and Everton are the British representatives and they follow Milan in the betting.

Arsenal are in Group H with BATE Borisov, Red Star Belgrade and FC Cologne. Everton were potted into Group E with Lyon, Atalanta and Apollon Limassol.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Arsenal are proving a popular pick with punters for European glory but our traders reckon Milan will take some beating this year.”

He added: “We’re expecting both English sides to progress to the knockout stages although the Toffees could come unstuck in their efforts to top a group including the likes of Lyon and Atalanta.”
