The much anticipated rematch between Tony Bellew and David Haye has been confirmed for December.
The first heavyweight contest between the two in March was one of the most hyped British fights of all time, and saw Bellew claiming the win in the 11th round, but only after Haye seriously damaged his Achilles.
Now the two have agreed the fight, which will take place at London’s O2 Arena on December 17th.
“I’ll be victorious and end Haye’s career,” said 34-year-old Bellew.
“I will have the exact same attitude I had going into the first fight – win at all costs.”
Former WBA heavyweight champion Haye, 36, is equally confident of winning the rematch.
“Last time the script was thrown out the window and the unpredictability of sport revealed itself in its most raw form,” Haye said.
“Bellew somehow won the lottery in our first fight, but believe me, he won’t win the lottery twice.”

Like with the first fight, the Bookmakers favour the Londoner to beat the Liverpudlian with Haye odds-on to take the win.
We spoke to BetVictor’s Charlie McCann about the rematch, and he told us: “David Haye has been put in as 4/11 favourite at BetVictor for the December rematch with Tony Bellew 2/1.
“Our odds compilers obviously feel that Bomber was flattered by his win at the O2 back in March either that or they are just making him as the outsider because his is an Evertonian and his club invariably flatter to deceive.
“Whatever the reason this looks like last chance saloon for Haye who looked a shadow of his former self even before his Achilles injury in the 6th Round – does Haye still have the heart to go with his boxing ability? I wonder,”
