Rafa Benitez is again being linked with the Leicester City job.
The Newcastle United boss is unsettled under owner Mike Ashley, whilst results have been disappointing this season – but the Spaniard is still highly regarded.
Leicester are currently in eighth in the Premier League but pressure has been mounting on Claude Puel with some in-different results.
Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers is known to be on their radar, but now Benitez is said to be of interest to the club – who lost their previous owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha was tragically killed in a helicopter crash in October.
Benitez has now seen his odds cut from 100/1 into 7/2 with Paddy Power.
Puel, despite back-to-back wins over Chelsea and Manchester City, is favourite to be the next top flight manager sacked (6/4) after his side’s late defeat to Cardiff.
Spokesman Paddy Power said: “Whisper it, but poor old Claude Puel is back on the chopping block – a place where he has spent most of his time in England.
“And it sounds like the Foxes could be lining up his replacement, as we witnessed a huge move on Rafa Benitez being the next Leicester manager.”
