Bet365 bring back offer that cost them £17million

Bet365 have brought back their penalty payback and Bore Draw offers for the 2018 World Cup, despite losing millions four years ago.

The Midlands betting outfit paid some £17million in refunds because of the offers in 2014, but they are going for it again.

World Cup 2018 Penalty Payback

How it works:
  1. Place a bet on the To Win Outright market for World Cup 2018.
  2. If any team you back is eliminated on penalties, we will refund your losing bet.

Bore Draw Money Back

Don’t let a blank score sheet bore you again with our fantastic Bore Draw Money Back offer.

Place a pre-match bet on ANY of our Correct Score, Half-Time/Full-Time or Scorecast markets for ANY Soccer match, and if the game finishes 0-0, we will refund your stake if the bet loses. This offer is only available to new and eligible customers.

This offer will not apply where a stake has been fully Cashed Out. Where a stake has been partially Cashed Out, and the match finishes 0-0, only the remaining active stake will be refunded.

If a qualifying bet is edited using our Edit Bet feature prior to kick-off and the match finishes 0-0, only the new stake will be refunded. Where a bet has been edited to include or amend a selection for an event that is In-Play, the offer will no longer apply.

Bets placed from your Withdrawable Balance will be refunded to your Withdrawable Balance and bets placed with Bet Credits will be refunded as Bet Credits.

bet365’s Steve Freeth “Four teams were knocked out on penalties and we had eleven 0-0 draws in the 2014 World Cup, including the final, which saw us refund a combined total of £17m.

“It’s fair to say they are popular offers.”
