The Super League moves into the third round and it has already produced some fantastic matches with only three unbeaten sides left – and that doesn’t include champions St Helens.

Wigan Warriors vs Toronto Wolfpack

Match Odds: Wigan 1/6, Toronto 5/1, Tie 25/1

Betfred says: Although they lost to Castleford last week, Wigan are long odds-on here and really should oblige. Back at home, against a Toronto side without marquee-signing Sonny Bill Williams and struggling with the demands of the top-flight so far, it could be by 16 or more.

Leeds Rhinos vs Hull KR

Match Odds: Leeds 4/9, Hull KR 2/1, Tie 25/1

Betfred says: Hull KR weren’t disgraced against local rivals and Betfred Super League’s early pace-setters Hull FC last Friday – the side who battered Leeds by 26 points in round one. The Rhinos’ match was postponed last week and so they will be fresh here, but it would not be a shock to see Hull KR take the two points.

Salford Red Devils vs Huddersfield Giants

Match Odds: Salford 8/11, Huddersfield 5/4, Tie 22/1

Betfred says: Huddersfield enjoyed a brilliant 20-point victory over Catalans in their opening game of the Betfred Super League season, and they will be fresh heading into this after their game last week was also postponed. Salford will be more comfortable at home, and buoyed by a win against Toronto Wolfpack last week – so this could be a close one, with Salford taken to just edge it.

Catalans Dragons vs Castleford Tigers

Match Odds: Catalans 4/6, Castleford 11/8, Tie 20/1

Betfred says: While it’s no easy task going to Perpignan and taking the three points, Castleford have won both their starts this season, including a big win over Wigan last week. Catalans, however, lost their opening game to Huddersfield and we’re yet to see them since due to postponement. At the prices, it’s surely got to be the Tigers to make it three-from-three.

Hull FC vs St Helens

Match Odds: Hull FC 4/5, Saints 11/10, Tie 22/1

Betfred says: Well, what a game this is. The champions, St Helens, take on current league leaders Hull FC, who are setting the standard so far this season. Saints failed to score a single point against Warrington last week – the first time that’s ever happened since 2016 – while Hull FC have won their first two starts well. This is a tougher test than they’ve had so far, but on current form you’d have to fancy them.

Wakefield Trinity vs Warrington Wolves

Match Odds: Wakefield 5/2, Warrington 1/3, Tie 22/1

Betfred says: Bluntly, Warrington should have too much for Wakefield here. They absolutely battered the champions St Helens 19-0 last week after a respectable effort in defeat to Wigan in the opening round, while Wakefield comfortably lost their only game so far. This could be a hammering by at least 20 points.
