So, Harry Bentley has been kicked off the ride of Limato. What an absolute joke.
Poor lad. He’s done absolutely nothing wrong and neither did the organisers at Meydan Racecourse in Dubai.
What a sore loser the owner, Paul Jacobs, must be to blame not only the cloud seeding, which had been highly advertised and known in Dubai, but also the jockey. Limato is a magnificent horse, shame his owner can’t smile and get on with things.

I’d be happy to buy the guy a drink and explain that a zillion owners the world over would kill for a horse like Limato.
Let’s look at the weekend racing. John Constable is pretty interesting in the Swinton Hurdle with Davy Russell booked. He ran pretty well at Aintree last time out and I feel he has a big run in him.
Peace And Co could well be the best horse in the race and for betting purposes you probably won’t go far wrong by dutching the pair.
After last weekend it would be silly to not mention Sir John Lavery for Aidan O’Brien in the Derby Trial at Lingfield. Is he an even-money shot for the 2.30 at Lingfield? Possibly not. Will he win? Quite probably. The bet seems to be to back him in the antepost Derby market – he will narrow markedly if he wins.
The Sky Is Blazing takes a big proportion of the book in the fillies’ race at 1.55. Pocketfullofdreams could prove value with Ryan Moore in the saddle. Tough weekend. Best of luck.
