Bookmakers are not convinced that West Bromwich Albion will be seeing a double figure return from their new signing Jay Rodriguez.
The Baggies have paid £12million for the England international from Southampton – who has hit double figures in the top-flight once in his career.
West Brom are clearly hoping they will be getting a real return from their investment but Bookmakers don’t think he will be grabbing 10 goals,
bet365 are pricing him odds-on at 2/9 to score under 10 goals, and 3/1 to go over.
“A long-time target of Pulis, he’s fully fit and raring to go this forthcoming season,” said bet365’s Steve Freeth.
“He an play out wide or centrally, he’ll be a valuable addition to forward line that struggled for goals last season.”
