Bournemouth to resist Wilson being Cherry picked

Bournemouth will try and resist any offers for Callum Wilson in January.

A number of Bounremouth’s Premier League rivals are keen on the 26-year-old – who has just been called into the England squad for the first.

Wilson, who signed a new long-term contract in the summer, is now attracting interest from a number of clubs including Chelsea, Tottenham and Everton.

However, despite possible interest at over £30million – sources close to Bournemouth insist that they would not want to sell – especially midway through the campaign in January.

The Bournemouth striker has been in sensational form so far this season, and having scored more than Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud combined, the bookies make the Blues 2/1 favourites to be Wilson’s next port of call.

Everton are next in the betting at 4/1 ahead of Tottenham (9/2) and Leicester (5/1) respectively, while 8/1 says Man United make a surprise move.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Wilson’s been in fine form this season and while Chelsea are going strong, a decent striker certainly wouldn’t go amiss.”
