Carabao Cup semi-final preview – Chelsea v Arsenal

The second Carabao Cup semi-final is a huge one as capital rivals Chelsea and Arsenal.

The two sides have only just played out a draw at the Emirates, but now they have two more games coming up in the coming weeks.

The first game sees Chelsea play hosts at Stamford Bridge, and Antonio Conte is hoping they can get the win on Wednesday.

“I think the [last] game against Arsenal was a good game. I think our performance was very good but we know very well which are the point of strengths of this team and maybe where they have the weak points,” he said.

“I think we try to stay in the game I the right way, we want to play another good game. We want to try to win the game.”

Wenger added: “I believe it can be again a very attractive game. Football is so unpredictable, it can be a locked game. It can be crazy game or locked.

“Overall we gave too many chances away in the game (against Chelsea). But we were unlucky as well with the penalty. We were outstanding going forward. I believe we showed mental resources until the last minute to come back to 2-2.”
