Carabao Cup Tuesday Preview

The Carabao Cup really gets going with the third round, with all of the Premier League’s ‘big boys’ entering the fray.

Those teams playing in Europe – Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, Tottenham, Arsenal and Everton – are all in action this week.

Indeed most of those clubs do not play until Wednesday – although most of the action is on Wednesdaywith 11 games.

The biggest game of the evening looks to be at the King Power with an all Premier League clash between Leicester and Liverpool.

There is also an all Premier League clash on the South Coast as Bournemouth and Brighton – who only played last week in the league – do it all again at the Vitality Stadium.

Another top-flight clash is at Selhurst Park with Roy Hodgson hoping for his first win in charge as Crystal Palace host Huddersfield Town – who have already won in South London after taking victory on the opening day of the league campaign.

Elsewhere, Burnley host Leeds at Turf Moor, Swansea travel to Reading, West Ham host Bolton and Stoke face a tricky looking test at Bristol City.

See below for a run-down on the game, including predictions from former England, Crystal Palace and Tottenham midfielder Andy Gray and our own Football Insider Graeme Bailey  together with everything you need to know from the bookies – with Ladbrokes.
