The Ladbrokes Challenge Cup is at the quarter-final stage and takes place over four days this weekend with holders Hull FC still in contention to defend their title.
The East Yorkshire outfit took the title last season, but they have a tough looking task on their hands as they are at home to Super League champions-elect Castleford.
The weekend’s matches open up with two of Super League surprise packages with Salford hosting Wakefield on Thursday evening.
There is only one non-Super League side still in the competition in the shape of Featherstone Rovers and they face a trip to Headingley against Leeds on Friday.
Saturday’s sees Warrington Wolves entertain Wigan Warriors.
