Champions League Tuesday Preview

Tuesday sees Champions League favourites Manchester City return to action, whilst Manchester United host Juventus in the pick of this week’s European action.

City face a tricky looking task as they travel to Ukraine to face Shakhtar Donetsk who are undefeated in their opening two games after drawing both.

Pep Guardiola’s men sit second in Group F, one point behind Lyon – who beat them in their opening game.

Juventus boast the only 100% record for any team playing on Tuesday, as they travel to Old Trafford to face United with Cristiano Ronaldo likely to get a good reception on his return to his former stamping ground.

Elsewhere on Tuesday, in Group E Ajax and Bayern Munich will look to maintain their unbeaten starts, whilst in Group G – surprising leaders CSKA Moscow travel to Roma with out-of-sorts Real Madrid host Viktoria Plzen.

We run through every game including predictions from former England, Crystal Palace and Tottenham midfielder Andy Gray, our own Football Insider Graeme Bailey and BoyleSports’ Lawrence Lyons.
