Champions League Tuesday Preview

Tuesday sees Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool looking to seal their places in the last 16 of the Champions League.

Going into the final games, the top two in Groups A and D have already been finalised – but all is still to play for in Groups B and C, which sees the two Premier League clubs battling it out.

In Group B, Tottenham travel to Barcelona – who have already won the group – knowing victory in the Nou Camp will see them through.

Inter Milan face PSV Eindhoven – knowing they have to better Spurs’ result to go through.

Group C and Liverpool is slightly more complicated as they host Napoli at Anfield. Jurgen Klopp’s side have to win, nothing more than that will do.

Paris Saint Germain travel to Serbia to face Red Star and victory will take them through. A defeat for Liverpool would also send them through. Defeat for PSG would mean Napoli progress, no matter of their result at Liverpool.

If all three teams finish on nine points, which is plausible, then Liverpool will win the group.

We run through every game including predictions from former England, Crystal Palace and Tottenham midfielder Andy Gray, our own Football Insider Graeme Bailey and BoyleSports’ Lawrence Lyons.
