Champions League Tuesday Preview

Liverpool go into the second of their Champions League semi-final with Barcelona needing a minor miracle to make it through to the final for a second year running.

The Reds come into the game trailing 3-0 from the first-leg but Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp insists they still think they have a chance.

“We are far away from giving up,” said Klopp. “There is hope.

“If there is an opportunity to go to the next round, we have to try.”

Barca chief Ernesto Valverde, is also adamant his side will not be giving up.

“Nothing in football is written, you have to go out there and do it. Liverpool are a good team, so who knows what could happen,” he said.

“Let’s wait and see what happens, Jurgen Klopp will still think he can win the double of Champions League and Premier League.”
