Champions League Wednesday Preview

Only one place in the last 16 is left up for grabs as the Champions League group stages conclude on Wednesday evening.

The only group which has to decide their top two, and those who will progress to the next out phase is Group F – where Manchester City are already qualified, but it is a matter of who will join them, with Lyon and Shakhtar Donetsk battling to make it through.

Best placed are Lyon – they only need a draw at Shakhtar, although a win for the Ukrainian giants will send them through.

City host Hoffenheim, knowing a point will secure top-spot for them.

Man United, like City, are already through and they will be looking to finish on top of Group H. To do that Jose Mourinho’s side will need to win in Valencia, and Juve will need to lose at Young Boys.

We run through every game including predictions from former England, Crystal Palace and Tottenham midfielder Andy Gray, our own Football Insider Graeme Bailey and BoyleSports’ Lawrence Lyons.
