Chelsea are already being priced up to defend their Premier League title defence, but they are not rated as favourites for next season.

Antonio Conte’s side claimed the title with victory at West Bromwich Albion, and bookmakers are already looking at the market for next year.

But Manchester City are the fancy to win it and they are priced at 9/4 ahead of Chelsea on 11/4.

bet365’s Steve Freeth said: “Such has been their dominance this season that Chelsea may well have won the title even if they had European football commitments, but the general consensus is that the midweek rest has been a big advantage which won’t be the case next campaign.”
