Antonio Conte has been made the new favourite to be the first Premier League to leave his job after the shock opening day loss to Burnley.
Chelsea’s title defence could not have been much worse as they had two players sent-off and went down to a 3-2 loss at Stamford Bridge.
“I saw two faces today: one positive in the second half, one negative in the first half,” said Conte.
Conte, who is reported to be less than happy with Chelsea’s summer transfer business, now looks far from settle in the hot-seat in West London.
He is now 7/2 favourite to go first and their title odds have drifted to 11/2.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “Conte’s odds of lasting the season have taken a hammering, much like Chelsea, and if that sort of form continues from the Champions-elect it won’t be long before he’s gone.”
