Antonio Conte’s odds on being the first Premier League manager have been cut following reports he has threatened to quit.
The Chelsea boss is reportedly far from happy with the club’s transfer dealings so far this summer, which has seen seemingly seen them miss out on top target Romelu Lukaku – who is heading to Manchester United.
Now in reaction to this, Bookmakers have cut Conte’s odds on his departure and BetVictor have cut him to 14/1 from 33s.
Spokesperson Charlie McCann said: “Conte is reported to be frustrated by the champions lack of transfer activity and punters have backed him all rates from 33/1 to 14/1
“Conte’s family didn’t come with him to London last season – they might not have to pack their bags after all.”
