It is little surprise that Antonio Conte has surged to the head of the betting to be next manager to leave.
Conte was already under pressure, but a heavy defeat at home to Bournemouth and now thumping at Watford has seen his odds on being sacked cut to odds-on.
But the Italian himself insists he is not feeling any pressure and said: “My position? It is the same.
“I stay here, try to work and put all of myself into the work. The pressure? Which pressure? What is the pressure?
“I work – if this is enough it is OK,” he said after their latest defeat. “Otherwise, the club have to take another decision.”
BetVictor now make him 1/5 to be next Premier League boss to go – which is an 83% probability, ahead of Southampton’s Mauricio Pellegrino – who is now out to a massive 8/1.
Guus Hiddink – who has already had two interim spells as boss – is 3/1 joint favourite to return to help out his good friend Roman Abramovich, alongside former Barcelona boss Luis Enrique.
BetVictor spokesperson Charlie McCann said: “Conte cut a very sorry and lonely figure on the touchline at Vicarage Road last night and he is highly unlikely to get the vote of confidence from the club he asked for ahead of the Watford defeat.
We make Luis Enrique and Guus Hiddink 3/1 joint favourites in a high-quality field of prospective replacements with Thomas Tuchel and Diego Simeone also likely to have their supporters at 6/1.”
