Coral pays out biggest ever Horse Racing win

A Coral telebet punter is celebrating the end of the National Hunt season after he landed almost £850,000 with a winning accumulator on the first six winners at Sandown on Saturday.

The man, a regular Coral customer who wishes to remain anonymous, placed a £30 Heinz on the opening six races at the Esher track, and when Silverhow won the 4.40, it completed a remarkable afternoon for the punter, and took his total payout to £847,999, making him the biggest winner of a fixed-odds racing bet in Coral’s history.

“Ballymoy’s victory in the opening race at Sandown kicked off a remarkable afternoon for this customer, and while Top Notch, Altior and Call Me Lord were all prominent in the betting for their respective races, Step Back in the feature contest and Silverhow in the sixth and final race were the standout selections that really made this bet the spectacular success it became,” said Coral’s David Stevens.

“What can we say apart from massive congratulations to this punter, who by taking early prices on his selections maximised his return.  The end result of the six winners was the biggest payout on a fixed-odds racing bet in Coral’s history, making this a jumps season finale we will never forget,” added Stevens.

The previous biggest payout by Coral to a racing customer was £823,000 in April 2017.
