Could Andy Murray win another Grand Slam?

Sir Andy Murray has returned to winning ways, but does this mean he is on his way back to competing at the top?

The former world number one has battled back from hip surgery which many thought would see him retire but having eased his way back to fitness via singles – the 32-year-old won the European Open in Belgium.

It was Murray’s first single title in two-and-a-half years, and he could not hide his delight.

“It means a lot,” the three-time Grand Slam champion said.

“The last few years have been extremely difficult. I didn’t expect to be in this position at all. I’m happy, very happy.”

Bookmakers have now reacted and make him just 4/1 to add a fourth Grand Slam to his CV in 2020.

The Scot will also be participating in the Davis Cup next month with bet365 going 20/1 about success for Great Britain in the tournament that gets under way in Madrid on November 18th.
