Don’t miss…the day’s best bets with Betfred – today looking at the return of the Champions League and a big card at Punchestown.
After a long two months or so, Champions League football is finally back on our TV screens.
It’s the Round of 16 first legs, and tonight we have two cracking ties to enjoy – as Atletico Madrid (5/2) entertain Liverpool (6/5) and Borussia Dortmund (15/8) host Paris Saint-Germain (13/10).
We can’t wait!
Gordon Elliott, Willie Mullins, Henry De Bromhead, Joseph Patrick O’Brien – the biggest names in racing take to Punchestown this afternoon.
Possibly the most interesting runner is Lord Royal, who runs at 3.20 in a Grade 3 novice hurdle.
He was super-impressive in his first start for Willie Mullins and, with entries in the Ballymore (25/1) and Albert Bartlett (12/1) for the Cheltenham Festival next month, Ireland’s Champion Trainer will be expecting his five-year-old to make another big statement today.
We also have racing at Musselburgh and Southwell this afternoon – check out the full programme, including all the latest odds, here.
Wilder/Fury II. It won’t be long now. The countdown is on until the very early hours of Sunday morning – and Tyson Fury has said “Wilder can’t beat me on points, it’s not possible. This is Las Vegas, not Los Angeles. If it goes 12 rounds, I have won.”
We still can’t split ‘em in the betting – it’s 10/11 Fury, 10/11 Wilder, and 20/1 the Draw.
Not many sleeps left now… bring it on!
