Leading Cheltenham fancy at Huntingdon

Shishkin, the current 5/1 joint-second favourite for the Supreme, runs in the 2.31 (still not used to that) at Huntingdon this afternoon in preparation for the Festival in March.

He’s odds-on to win today’s Listed contest over 2m3f. Trainer Nicky Henderson sees this as a nice stamina test with the Supreme in mind, while jockey Nico de Boinville thinks the horse may appreciate the Ballymore’s extra distance.

Where will he end up? We’ll know a lot more post-race – but he’s 10/1 for the Ballymore currently.

Betfred Super League cracker

The return of the Premier League

No, not the football… we’re still on winter break. We’re talking, of course, about the Premier League Darts.

Unsurprisingly, current champion Michael van Gerwen is the EVS favourite to win it – and he takes on 5/1 second favourite and current PDC world champion Peter Wright tonight at 8.30pm.

Last year’s runner-up Rob Cross faces Gerwyn Price, while 2015 champion Gary Anderson is up against Daryl Gurney.
