Second time lucky?

Tonight’s it’s the FA Cup 3rd Round replays – including Newcastle vs Rochdale and Tottenham vs Middlesbrough.

We’ve got five games at 7.45pm, with the TV fixture at 8.05pm as Spurs host Middlesbrough after a 1-1 tie last time out.

Mourinho’s men are 2/9 to win in the 90, while Middlesbrough are 11/1 and the Draw is 11/2. Our popular Double Delight & Hat-trick Heaven promotion applies here too – so make sure to look at the goalscorer markets.

Festival hopeful at Donny?

Racing at Exeter has been abandoned, but there’s still plenty of action to enjoy today at Fairyhouse, Doncaster and Chelmsford.

One runner that particularly stands out is Nicky Henderson’s Craigneiche in the 1.35 Doncaster this afternoon, where he’s a strong 4/7 favourite.

The six-year-old bolted up first time out in a bumper at Market Rasen back in June, before returning from a 180-day break to make his debut over hurdles where he was a very respectable third, just over eight lengths behind Colin Tizzard’s potential superstar The Big Breakaway.

He ran green that day too, and was given a tender ride under hands and heels by Nico De Boinville – who takes the ride again this afternoon – to finish nicely in front of the 134-rated I K Brunel.

That form alone should win today’s race, and any sort of improvement could see him make a bit of a statement. Could he be one of Nicky’s Festival charges? Maybe the Ballymore, or Albert Bartlett?

Bruno to United?

It’s not been a bad January transfer window at all, as far as January transfer windows go.

Dominating the headlines at the moment is whether or not Manchester United will secure the signing of Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes.

Some reports suggest it’s a done deal, some say the two parties are ‘in talks’ and some suggest it’s only a matter of interest so far (check here for all the latest transfer news).

Our odds suggest the former two, with the Portuguese 1/8 to be playing football at Old Trafford after the January transfer window shuts. Will there be more drama to the tale today?
