Easily the most fascinating contest of the day is at Market Rasen in the mares’ bumper at 2.45, where the legendary Willie Mullins fields Panic Attack, his first ever runner at the Lincolnshire track.

One would imagine Willie wouldn’t be sending her over, and bringing Paul Townend with him for just the one ride, to take on Listed opposition on debut if she wasn’t showing plenty of ability at home.

McGregor 2.0?

Last night was the pre-fight presser between the UFC‘s biggest name, Conor McGregor, and his opponent on Sunday, Donald Cerrone.

The Irishman cut a completely different figure to the one we saw in the build-up to his last fight against Khabib Nurmagamedov. He was calm, humble, and focused. Is that a sign of things to come?

Everyone is waiting to see if “The Notorious” will be as focused and sharp in the ring as he has been in the build-up to this fight – and what will we see from him at welterweight for the first time?
