Champion jockey-elect at Catterick

After the unfortunate news that Richard Johnson suffered a broken arm after a fall at Exeter yesterday, Brian Hughes looks a shoo-in to win the Jump Jockeys Championship 2019/20.

Hughes, who leads the way on 114 wins to Johnson’s 111 at the moment, aims to put some distance between himself and the current champ with three rides at Catterick this afternoon – namely The Some Dance Kid (9/1), Minella Trump (5/4) and Call Me Maizie (16/1).

There’s also racing at LingfieldWarwick and Kempton today – and you check out today’s meetings, including the latest odds, here.
