It’s FA Cup week

Tonight sees Arsenal travel to Fratton Park in an FA Cup fifth-round clash against Portsmouth.

Pompey manager Kenny Jackett has described the game as a “mouth-watering” tie, but the stats don’t favour his side – Portsmouth have not beaten Arsenal in any competition since winning a league match 5-4 in March 1958, drawing eight and losing 13 since then.

Nottingham Forest hope to continue their promotion push when they travel to Middlesbrough tonight.

They can close the gap to third-placed Fulham to just one point with a win at the Riverside.  Boro have lost four of their last six Championship games against Forest.

Jonathan Woodgate’s side sit two points away from safety, after a run of 11 games without a win and three straight losses without scoring. Both sides are fighting for every point they can find.
