Danny Rose is open to the idea of moving abroad, and Paris Saint Germain are interested in a deal for the England full-back.
Rose has been unsettled at Spurs for over 12-months, not happy with his current deal and with no new contract on the agenda – Tottenham are happy to let him move on.
Manchester United were keen, but a deal was never near to being concluded – but with the foreign market still open until the end of the month, there is a chance that Rose could try his hand on the continent.
Sources close to the situation have confirmed ‘a number’ of clubs have asked about Rose, including PSG and German outfit Schalke.
It is believed Rose would ideally prefer a loan deal with a view to a permanent switch.
PSG have now emerged as clear favourites to land him, and Bookmakers Betway make them just 5/4 to secure his signature although it is Evens he stays with Tottenham.
Betway’s Alan Alger said: “Danny Rose was left out of Tottenham’s game against Newcastle at the weekend and the betting suggests that could be because he’s preparing a move to Paris.
“Despite being involved in England’s successful World Cup campaign, Rose is out of favour at Spurs and PSG have come in from 12/1 to 5/4 to snap him up before the window slams shut on the rest of Europe at the end of this month. Rose is evens to stay at Spurs, a price that’s drifted all the way out from 1/5.”
