14:00 Investec Private Banking Handicap (3yo, Class 2, 1m 2f 17y, 8 runners)

The field/odds:  Tartini (5/2), Desert Skyline (7/2), Drochaid (6/1), Emenem (15/2), Bristol Missile (8/1), Hajaj (9/1), Masham Star (10/1), Mister Blue Sky (12/1)
The Duke says:
The Bookie says: Tartini is the favourite – he has run in two Classic trials this year, Epsom and then Lingfield, he was very well fancied then but I would be looking to take him on here. You can see why he is favourite, but I like the look of some of the others. Bristol Missile trained by our ambassador Richard Hannon and he has mentioned this horse as one to follow when it went handicapping and this will be its first handicap and now he might be the horse worth following.

14:35 Princess Elizabeth Stakes (Sponsored By Investec) (Fillies’ Group 3) (3yo+, Class 1, 1m 113y, 11 runners)

The field/odds: Laugh Aloud (6/4), Elbereth (7/1), Absolute Blast (9/1), Czabo (12/1), Urban Fox (12/1), Epsom Icon (16/1), Silver Meadow (16/1), Silver Step (16/1), Kilmah (18/1), Crowning Glory (25/1), Tisbutadream (33/1)

The Duke says:
The Bookie says: Laugh Aloud does look the one to beat with John Gosden – had had two runs already this season after a good campaign and I think she will improve again, she is rated the best in the race and she will take some beating here.

15:10 Investec Diomed Stakes (Group 3) (3yo+, Class 1, 1m 113y, 8 runners)

The field/odds: Oh This Is Us (4/1), Folkswood (9/2), Sovereign Debt (6/1), Here Comes When (13/2), Kool Kompany (13/2), Custom Cut (9/1), Gabrial (9/1), Ballet Concerto (10/1)
The Duke says:
The Bookie says: 4/1 the field here, it looks a good race this. Oh This Is Us will be the favourite, again a Richard Hanon horse and I was with him when he was talking to the owners about him about a month ago, and they considered running him at Royal Ascot in the Group One race so the fact he is running here in a Three – that has to be a positive.

15:45 Investec Corporate Banking ‘Dash’ Handicap (3yo+, Class 2, 5f, 20 runners)

The field/odds: Duke Of Firenze (8/1), Desert Law (10), Edward Lewis (10), El Astronaute (10), Kimberella (10), Boom The Groom (16), Bowson Fred (16), Caspian Prince (16), Dark Shot (16), Excessable (16), Line Of Reason (16), A Momentofmadness (18), Majestic Hero (18), Exceed The Limit (20), Olivia Fallow (25), Orvar (25), Union Rose (25), Sign of The Kodiac (28), Move In Time (33), Blithe Spirit (40)
The Duke says:
The Bookie says: This is a really difficult race – Duke of Firenze was placed last year and may be favourite. Draw is crucial here and you want a high draw here. The one I do like, and I know they have been aiming at this race is Majestic Hero – trained by Ron Harris, who I know well – slightly put off by the draw, but he likes to be held up so he could come across and make his run here.

16:30 Investec Derby (Group 1) (3yo, Class 1, 1m 4f 10y, 19 runners)

The field/odds: Cliffs Of Moher (4), Cracksman (4), Eminent (36/5), Permian (11), Best Solution (14), Venice Beach (14), Capri (29/2), Dubai Thunder (29/2), Benbatl (26), Rekindling (26), Douglas Macarthur (27), Khalidi (31), Wings Of Eagles (35), Crowned Eagle (45), Salouen (60), Glencadam Glory (66), The Anvil (100), Pealer (150), Diore Lia (1000)
The Duke says:
The Bookie says: If there is no more rain – Cracksman will be favourite, but given John Gosden took him out the Dante because of the ground, if there is rain then Cliffs of Moher. The one which has seen the money in recent weeks is Eminent – I know his stable were so disappointed with his run in the Guineas, but they think he has a great chance here – we are biggest price. Permian has been supplemented for big money and I think he is a good price, he probably won’t win but very much back each way. Diore Lia – there are so many different aspects to talk about, they have paid the entry fees from being a yearling, so if she is entered then she should run – but she will come last!

17:15 Investec Out Of The Ordinary Handicap (4yo+, Class 2, 1m 4f 6y, 13 runners)

The field/odds: Shraaoh (20/21), Gawdawpalin (3), Green Light (4), Spinners Ball (5), Whinging Willie (5), Barwick (27/5), Lorelina (6), Carntop (8), Sennockian Star (11), Soldier In Action (11), Murgan (12), Eddystone Rock (14), Cold Fusion (40)

The Duke says:
The Bookie says: I would look for a horse with a high draw again in this one – Cold Fusion is interesting as there is a great jockey in Holly Doyle on that one, she rides them exceptionally well, would need to improve but be big odds – the best quality horse I think is Solder in Action, Mark Johnston’s four-year-old – this has run at Epsom before, has not won but has come back to a bit of form.

17:50 Investec Asset Management Handicap (4yo+, Class 2, 6f 3y, 17 runners)

The field/odds: Naggers (2), Blaine (4), Paddy Power (27/5), Lucky Beggar (6), George Bowen (7), Holiday Magic (8), Watchable (9), Ninjago (10), Clear Spring (11), Suzis Connoisseur (11), B Fifty Two (12), Ashpan Sam (14), Pearl Spectre (14), Scrutineer (14), In The Red (16), Reputation (19), Sir Ottoman (20)

The Duke says:
The Bookie says: This is a difficult race again with 17 runners, this will go very quickly – a horse I think that needs to be looked at his Blaine – he won this race last year and won really well, he loves a fast run race and loves the track.
