Arsenal’s hope of a top-four finish have taken a huge blow after they were comfortably beaten 3-0 by Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
The Gunners were looking to move back into fifth above Manchester United, but instead they are now three points off Jose Mourinho’s side and seven off Manchester City in fourth.
Bookmakers now make Arsenal as long as 11/2 to make the top-four, whilst Palace eased their relegation fears with the win, which takes them six points clear of third from bottom Swansea.
Palace took the lead after 17-minutes with Andros Townsend converting from close-range. The lead was doubled on the hour through Yohan Cabaye.
Luka Milivojevic soon clinched victory with a penalty to seal the win for Sam Allardyce’s side.
