Eden Hazard is set for crunch talks with Chelsea over his future when he returns to training this week.

The brilliant Belgian is wanted by Spanish giants Real Madrid, and the 27-year-old is keen to make the switch.

Chelsea are set to allow team-mate and friend Thibaut Courtois make the move to Real, as he has just 12-months left on his current deal and has told the club he won’t sign a new deal.

However, Chelsea have made it clear they want him to stay and have prepared a contract that would see him become one of the highest paid players in Europe, on £350,000-a-week – indeed only Alexis Sanchez in the Premier League would earn more.

But it remains to be seen if Hazard will commit to Chelsea, and having been given extra time off by new boss Maurizio Sarri following his World Cup exploits, he will talk with the club in the coming days.
