Superstar Enable is being backed to continue her brilliant form and win a second consecutive King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes.

Enable travels to Ascot for her second outing of the season, off the back of ten successive wins which include two Prix de l’Arc de Triomphes and the Breeders’ Cup Turf .

Trainer John Gosden admits it is a ‘tall order’ for Enable’s winning run to continue, but she is odds on to do so.

“I’m sure that pricing her where she is [by bookmakers] is not realistic to her chances, but it is realistic to them to protect themselves if she does win,” said Gosden.

Enable is 4/6 favourite with Coral to win the King George. Crystal Ocean is the 11/4 second favourite, ahead of the Investec Derby winner Anthony Van Dyck at 6/1.

“Contrary to what the ratings say and her trainer John Gosden may believe, Enable is odds-on favourite to win her second King George because of her incredible career record to date, and the fact that she looked as good as ever when winning the Coral-Eclipse on her comeback earlier this month,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
