The brilliant Enable returns to action for the first time this year at the weekend.
The four-year-old filly was last seen winning the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe almost 12-months ago, but she will be back in action in the September Stakes at Kempton.
She suffered an injury setback earlier this year, which has meant her campaign has been delayed but the John Gosden trained superstar is understood to be back to full fitness.
Teddy Grimthorpe, racing manager for owner Khalid Abdullah said: “She’s been fine and she’s been reported in good form.
“I’ve seen her several times and she looks in good shape. She’s done everything correctly, as John would have wanted. We’re looking forward to it.”
She is now set to return and is odds-on favourite to win.
“Enable’s connections may not have been expecting a rival of the quality of Crystal Ocean to be opposing her on her long-awaited comeback, but that could now be the case, although such was her domination of last season, we still make her odds-on to make a winning return,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
