Four new caps in the England squad, but they are already being backed to make the England squad for this summer’s World Cup finals.
Gareth Southgate’s side have a friendly double-header this month against with Holland and Italy, and he has taken the chance to look at some new faces.
Burnley duo James Tarkowsk and Nick Pope have been called up for the first time alongside Swansea’s Alfie Mawson, whilst Bournemouth’s Lewis Cook is also back in the squad and looking for his first cap.

Now both Burnley players are rated highly, with Pope priced at 7/4 to make the trip to Russia, and Tarkowski 5/2, whilst Mawson is 5/1 and Cook the outsider of the quartet at 12/1.
BetVictor’s Head of ante post Football Michael Triffitt commented: “With the World Cup in Russia this summer fast approaching the market to make the final 23 man squad has seen some changes following the announcement of Gareth Southgates latest squad to face the Netherlands and Italy.
“Uncapped quartet Alfie Mawson, Nick Pope, James Tarkowski and Lewis Cook have all been included and shorten accordingly.”
