England v Switzerland Preview

England host Switzerland on Tuesday looking for victory in order to avoid an unwanted record.

The Three Lions have lost their last three games, meaning defeat to the Swiss at Leicester City’s King Power Stadium would see England loss four games in-a-row for the first time ever.

Despite this, Southgate is insistent that they will not change their beliefs – which saw them make the World Cup semi-finals last summer.

“We don’t enjoy or accept losing matches but I can’t make decisions just to get a win,” said Southgate.

“We have to focus on processes and the things we can control. I will always manage the team as if I am going to be there forever, whatever job I’m involved in. That won’t change my approach to selection, to strategy.”
