Europa League Preview

Arsenal and Everton complete their Europa League group stages campaigns on Thursday.

Arsenal have already secured top spot in Group H, and they complete their campaign at home to BATE Borisov.

Arsene Wenger is going to use the match to continue giving his squad playing time.

“I have many players available who need competition,” said Wenger.

“Next week we go into a week with three games and so some players need competition, some experienced players. We’ll play quite an experienced team.”

For new Everton boss Sam Allardyce he will miss the final taste of European action for The Toffees due to a medical appointment.

First team coaches s Craig Shakespeare and Duncan Ferguson will be in charge for the trip to Cyprus to face Apollon.

Allardyce, though, has warned that they are not taking the game too serious.

“It is a dead rubber,” said Allardyce.

“I would suggest to the fans that if you are going to spend some money to go and watch them be mindful that I am going to send a team that is not going to be risking too many players who are going to be involved for Liverpool.

“It would be foolish of me to consider getting a player injured in that game and not have him available. I have too many injuries already.”
