Europa League Preview

Everton look to book their place in the group stages of the Europa League as they travel to Croatia to face Hajduk Split.

The Toffees sealed a 2-0 win at Goodison Park last week and they travel to Split for the second leg fully focused on making the next stage.

“It’s important for a club with Everton’s history to be part of Europe and it’s the ambition to qualify for the Europa League,” said Ronald Koeman.

“I want to be involved again on Thursday nights. We know it is going to be tough, and have some injuries, but we’ll fight.”

Elsewhere, some of Europe’s biggest clubs are looking to make the group stages with the likes of Red Star Belgrade, Fenerbahce, Panathinaikos, Athletic Bilbao, Marseille, Ajax, AC Milan and Dynamo Kiev in action.
