Everton close on Richarlison deal

Everton are close to sealing a club record deal for Watford forward Richarlison.

The Brazilian made a huge impact at Vicarage Road after arriving last summer from Fluminese in a deal worth just over £11million.

Now The Hornets are braced for a huge profit as Everton have agreed a deal close to £50million, which will be in excess of their club record which is currently at £45million for Gylfi Sigurdsson.

The 21-year-old has been looking at his future for a number of months, and as we revealed back in December – he was signed up by a high-profile agent with a view to leaving this summer.

Now Richarlison, a Brazilian youth international, is set to reunite with former Watford boss Marco Silva – now in charge at Goodison Park.

Bookmakers are convinced the deal is happening and have closed the market on Richarlison joining, but this may not be the final deal between the two.

It is understood that Everton and Silva would also like to take midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure – but a deal for him looks more difficult.
