Burnley wanted around £25million and Everton are ready to come up with the cash to land the former Manchester United youngster.
Ronald Koeman has already splashed more than £50million this summer on deals for Jordan Pickford and Davy Klaasen, whilst they have also agreed terms with Malaga for striker Sandro Ramirez.
Now Keane will take their spending to past £75million – although with the expected departures of Romelu Lukaku and possibly Ross Barkley – there will still be plenty of cash left in the pot for Koeman.
Bookmakers are convinced that Keane is on his way to Goodison park and they list him at 1/10 to complete the move – he is as long as 12/1 to stay with Burnley next season.
