Leeds United have unveiled a controversially new badge which has not gone down too well with their own fan base.
Leeds have decided to dump the white rose of Yorkshire and instead have opted for a silhouette of a white shirted player, with his arm across his chest.
Leeds say they consulted 10,000 fans before making the decision, but already an on-line petition against the change has nearly 20,000 signatures.
Leading Bookmaker PaddyPower have been quick to offer a host of markets.
They are offering odds of 10/1 that the Yorkshire club don’t play a single league fixture with their newly designed crest on their kits.
Spokesman Paddy Power said: “This new design does have a real retro feel, with Leeds obviously having asked an intern to create it on Microsoft Paint.
“The club claim to have consulted with more than 10,000 people on the design…they must have all been from Sheffield.”
