Football INDEX – our man in the know

I am delighted to be writing for TheGamblingTimes.com and hopefully I can give you some real insights into Football INDEX.

I first stumbled upon Football INDEX in February 2016. I was a keen gambler and often placed accumulators at the weekend or in the week.

Football INDEX really caught my eye as it felt like something different and unique and there was nothing similar to this in terms of gambling.

I started off with £50, which soon went up to £100 after my first couple of days. My first thought was to buy the players I liked the most, Rooney, Ronaldo, Messi… etc. I didn’t really know what I was doing and was just buying anyone and hoping they increased in value. I’ve learnt over the last year how to profit on the index and what to look out for when trading.

Since joining Football INDEX over a year ago I have deposited roughly £3000 and am over £9000 in profit.

I’m going to share a few tips that I’ve learnt over the last year and what can drive players’ prices higher.

My first key tip for anyone new to the Index is the use of the Buzz. The Buzz aspect could be said drives the most demand for the market, the more chance your future – which is one share in a player – has at winning the Buzz the higher that future could be worth. Top of the Index players such as Ibrahimovic, Sanchez, Pogba etc are all known for winning the Buzz many times over the course of the season and this is shown in their prices.

The next tip is the safe purchases, you can own a future for three years and therefore safe purchases are also important for a successful portfolio, Kane, Alli, Jesus, Pogba etc are all deemed as safe purchases on the Index.

Also young players who have a high media attention and will more than likely be in the Premier League over the next 3 years.

AVOID

What I would say to avoid to any new traders when picking players.

  • Players outside the premiership offer little value compare to Premier League players (Unless they are linked to a move towards the Premier League)
  • Defenders offer little value on the Index, they rarely win the Buzz and the price of a defender can never reach the heights as strikers.
  • Don’t get stung by transfer rumours, many players with transfer speculation will drop significantly once the transfer is complete. If you can get in early then money can be made but get in late and you could easily be stung.

Hope this quick guide helps and I will be posting more tips on Football INDEX in the future.
