After securing the World Cup in Russia, France’s squad are being tipped for more success.
BoyleSports have made France the 11/2 favourites to retain the World Cup in 2022. The UEFA European Championships are next on the cards for Didier Deschamps’ side and once again they hold favouritism at 4/1.
Rivalling France for the 2022 title of champions of the world are Germany, who bowed out in the group stages after finishing bottom of Group F. They are second favourites to bounce back as World Cup winners in Qatar at 6/1. Also priced at 6/1 are Brazil, who were favourites for the 2018 tournament until they made their departure in the quarter-finals.
Spain also had a dismal World Cup, after being knocked out in the round of 16 hosts Russia following a penalty shootout, but are third in line for the 2022 title at 7/1.
England may not have brought it home but are 16/1 to do so in 2022, whilst runners up Croatia are 33/1 shots to go one better next time out.
Aoife Heffron, Spokesperson for BoyleSports commented “France’s World Cup win has seen them take over the World Cup 2022 and the Euro 2020 betting as respective 11/2 and 4/1 favourites and punters are already latching onto Deschamps’ men to retain their status as World Champions in four years’ time.”
She added “Early support has also come in for Brazil at 6/1 after their exit in the quarter finals left many punters disgruntled, but undeterred.”
