Frank de Boer emerges as Swansea favourite

Frank de Boer has emerged as a front-runner for the Swansea City job.

The Swans’ American majority shareholders Jason Levien & Steve Kaplan will have the final say, and are believed to be keen on a big name, and are favouring a foreign boss.

Chairman Huw Jenkins was keen on former Stoke and WBA boss Tony Pulis, but it seems Swansea won’t be going British this time around.

Former Ajax and Inter Milan chief De Boer lasted just a matter of weeks at Selhurst Park but he is believed to be interested in the Liberty Stadium vacancy and he is now the leading candidate.

The Swans also want to talk to former West Ham chief Slaven Bilic, whilst Peter Bosz – who recently lost his job as Borussia Dortmund chief is also one who the club would like to have dialogue with.

De Boer is currently the 2/1 favourite with BetVictor for the job.
