Bale’s agent insists he is out of reach of PL clubs

Gareth Bale’s agent has confirmed that a move back to the Premier League this summer on not on their agenda.

The Welsh star has been one of the current Real Madrid squad singled out by fans, following a frustrating campaign.

Bale has been jeered on a regular basis, and this has led to speculation that he could quit the Spanish capital.

But Bale, a favourite of president Florentino Perez, has three years left on his current deal worth in excess of £500,000-a-week and his agent Jonathan Barnett has confirmed he is out of reach of the Premier League  – having being linked with former club Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United.

“No one could afford him,” said Barnett when asked about a move.

Bale has not seen eye-to-eye with current Real boss Santiago Solari – who looks more than likely to be replaced in the summer, and sources believe that he wants to see who will be in charge in the summer.

But Barnett has not held back in his criticism of Real’s fans, and he told Sky Sports: “This generation of Real fans will be talking about Gareth’s goals for years to come. Frankly they should be ashamed of themselves.

“Gareth deserves the greatest of respect. The way the Real fans have treated Gareth is nothing short of a disgrace.”

And Bookmakers currently believe Bale’s agent as he is odds-on at 8/11 to stay at Real, with Man United the most likely to land him – rated at 7/2.
