Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has insisted that the players want Arsene Wenger to stay beyond this season.

Wenger’s future is the talk of English football, with nobody knowing for certain whether he will extend his stay at The Emirates this summer, or if he will leave the club.

The Frenchman has an offer on the table from the Gunners’ board, but discontent among the fan base is growing – especially given their current run of form.

Arsenal have lost four of their last give games and are in real danger of missing out on a top-four finish for the first time since Wenger arrived.

Wenger has announced that he has taken his decision on his future, and he will announce his plans very soon.

“We want Arsene Wenger to renew his contract, to continue his adventure, because we support him.”

And Giroud insists that the Arsenal squad are firmly behind their boss.
