The St Jude Classic and Lyoness Open are the final tournaments before next week’s US Open, and as such a host of players have taken the week off.
The St Jude in Memphis does see quite an impressive field with world number nine Rickie Fowler heading the field. Eight of the world’s top 30 are featuring.

Phil Mickelson has also confirmed he is featuring, but he will not be at Erin Hills next week due to his daughter’s graduation.
The St Jude does not offer qualification places straight into the US Open, but it does present players to move into the top-60 in the world, which would see them gain entry.
Australian Adam Scott makes a return to Memphis for the first time in ten years and he sees it as good preparation.
“So far, I’ve managed to peak for the right events but if I can step it up that extra 20 per cent I’ll be right there (at the US Open),” he said.
“I’m confident I can do that for that hot run through the (US) summer.”
Defending champion at TPC Southwind is Daniel Berger, and he is amongst the favourites.

In Austria, the Lyoness Open takes place and local hero Bernd Wiesberger is firm favourite to take his second Austrian Open title.
Wiesberger is one of only a handful of players who are playing at the Diamond Country Club, who will also be playing in the US Open.
Wiesberger is looking forward to playing on home soil. “It’s a big thing for me and Austrian golf,” he said.
“I think every Austrian is looking forward to it and preparing the way to perform their best this week and it is the same for me. I am hoping to bring my A game.”

In Austria, think we will go for Graeme Storm again and hope for a good week.
America, hard to look past Fowler, think him and Mickelson will go well.
We caught up with Ladbrokes’ senior golf trader Peter D’Arcy ahead of the weekend’s action to gauge the markets and ask him about our fancies.
Punters are seeing the St Jude as a wide open event, with not much money being invested in the favourites. Harold Varner III is currently our biggest loser.
But I will once again stick with Kyle Stanley.
In Austria, The very short price favourite Benrd Wiesberger has put the punters off and it’s the outsiders who are seeing the business, I’m going to plump for Eduardo De La Riva.
