Arsenal maintained their slim hopes of claiming a top-four place with a hard fought 2-1 win at second from bottom Middlesbrough.
The Gunners took the lead in the first-half with Alexis Sanchez converting from a free-kick.
But Boro battled back and levelled just after the break with Alvaro Negredo converting a Stewart Downing cross.
The home side had chances to take the lead but it was Arsenal who claimed the victory with Mesut Ozil scoring on 71 minutes to seal the win.
The three points takes Arsenal back into sixth place, three points of Manchester United in fifth and a further four points off Manchester City – but with a game in hand.
Arsenal’s odds for a top-finish have been cut to 8/1, whilst Boro look all but relegated and are now 1/50 to go down.
