Impressive Scotland see title odds cut after win

A brilliant second-half showing helped Scotland to a 29-13 win over Wales at Murrayfield, their first success over the Dragon nation for a decade.

The Scots – predicted by TheGamblingTimes.com to be the Dark Horses in this year’s tournament – have shown they are genuine title contenders, having added this win to the opening success over Ireland.

They claimed the win thanks to tries from Tommy Seymour and Tim Visser as they proved just too good for the Welsh.

A tight first-half saw Wales narrowly leading 13-9 – but it was the second 40-minutes that transformed the game, Scotland scored within minutes of the re-start and never looked back.

Scotland are now rated at jut 8/1 for the Six Nations by Betfred – which they are priced at 4/1 for the Triple Crown.

Ireland are rated at 7/2 with Betfred following their hard fought 19-9 win over France at the Aviva Stadium.

The returning Johnny Sexton inspired the home side to the win as he passed the 600 point mark in international rugby with wo penalties and a drop goal.

Ireland are a point ahead of Scotland at the top of the table with England playing Italy on Sunday.
