France’s hard fought 22-16 win over Scotland has seen England’s odds for Six Nations glory reduced further.

A brilliant contest in Paris saw Scotland give it everything as they looked for back-to-back wins following their opening win over Ireland.

But France’s powerful pack and dynamic backs got the better of the Scots to take the win, although the visitors did secure a bonus point in defeat.

France are now priced at 12/1 to to win the tournament of which England are firm favourites at 4/11, ahead of Ireland who have come into 9/2. After their defeat Scotland are now 12/1.

Odds on England to take the Triple Crown are now Evens from 10/11 with no Triple Crown winner being 10/11.

Liam Glynn of BoyleSports said: “England are now 4/11 to retain the Six Nations Championship but it may well go down to the final match when they face Ireland in Dublin on March 18^th.”

Glynn confirmed that Boylesport are willing to take on England, given they have to travel to Dublin to face Ireland in their final match.

“Eddie Jones’s squad are now the worst result in the Ante Post book for the firm whilst they are also proving extremely popular at Evens to win the Triple Crown, however our traders are willing to take them on as they feel that Ireland will pull it out of the bag and stop them on home soil in the final game on March 18^th.”
